La riorganizzazione delle aree limitrofe allo stadio Dall’Ara rappresenta una riflessione sulle grandi opportunità che deriverebbero dall’ ammodernamento non solo delle attrezzature sportive ma dell’intero assetto del quartiere. Questa zona ha infatti tutte le potenzialità per trasformarsi in un distretto sportivo esclusivo e dinamico, un punto di riferimento per Bologna come città dello sport. Accanto a nuove strutture e servizi legati alle attività sportive, saranno riservati ampi spazi per attività commerciali e lavorative. Il programma sarà incentrato sul tema dello sport e del tempo libero, con l’intento di rispondere alla sempre più crescente richiesta di complessi sportivi polifunzionali per ospitare i numerosi club e circoli cittadini. Il progetto rappresenterà molto più che un nuovo stadio per il Bologna FC e supporterà una più ampia diffusione della cultura dello sport, attivo e passivo, per giovani ed anziani, per dilettanti ed atleti professionisti, facilitando l’integrazione tra differenti gruppi sociali e culturali.

The reorganization of the areas around the Dall’Ara stadium represents a reflection on the great opportunities derived from modernizing not only the sport facilities but also the entire neighbourhood layout. This area in fact has all the potentials to transform into an exclusive and dynamic sport district, a reference point for Bologna as city of sport. Next to new structures and services linked to sport functions, large spaces will be reserved for commercial and work activities. The programme will focus on the theme of sport and leisure, with the intention to respond to the constantly increasing demand of polifunctional sport complexes to host the numerous local clubs and associations. The project will represent much more than a new stadium for the Bologna FC and will support a wider diffusion of the sport culture, active and passive, for young men and elders, for amateurs and professional athletes, facilitating the integration between social and cultural groups.
